How many CPD points will I get?

Every course we provide has CPD points assigned to it and are displayed along with dates and times of the course.  Points are available from Basis Prompt and BPCA, however, if you belong to another scheme, please contact us so that points can be awarded. The amount of points awarded varies per course, dependant on length of course content and learning outcomes.

How many people will be on the course?

We believe that over subscription reduces the quality of the course and we want all of our courses to be interactive. As a consequence, we only allow a maximum of 15 per course.

Are online courses live or recorded?

All of our online courses are live and real time.

Can I ask questions during online courses?

Absolutely! We believe that any training course should allow for questions to ensure complete understanding. There is a chat box facility throughout the session allowing you to ask questions.

What stops me booking onto an online course, blanking my screen and not watching?

All of our courses have an assessment attached to them to verify understanding and ensure attendance. These are usually multiple choice in nature. Once you have completed the assessment and submitted it, you will then be awarded  your CPD points.

What if I fail the assessment?

The vast majority of people pass first time. However, there will be the option to retake any test, should you fail.

Why book with ACT and not just go on YouTube to watch videos for free?

The answers to this are infinite. YouTube is non-interactive and often videos are made by people who have no, or limited experience within the pest control industry, therefore will often provide poor if not completely inaccurate information. YouTube ‘training’ are information videos at best, also are not awarded CPD points. We also keep the cost of our training low as we genuinely believe that everyone should have access to training. Our mission is to ensure that everyone who works in the industry or is connected to it, has the ability to fulfil their potential.
